Yandal Resources Limited has extended its Arrakis mineralised structure by 400m, with promising gold intercepts (up to 11m at 1.4 g/t). Their completed Caladan air-core program indicates a continuous structure over 1.2km, paving the way for further drilling and exploration in Western Australia.

Yandal Resources Limited has reported encouraging results from its Caladan air‐core drilling program, which has now extended the Arrakis mineralised structure over 1.2 kilometers along strike. The recent results from the second batch of testing include significant intercepts, such as 11 meters averaging 1.4 g/t gold (including 6 meters at 2.3 g/t gold) and an additional 1 meter from 87 meters to end of hole (EOH) at 1.0 g/t gold. These findings build on previous intercepts and suggest that the mineralisation is consistently aligned relative to a 3km regolith anomaly, with indications that the structure remains open to both the northwest and southeast. The drilling program, comprising 132 holes for a total of 13,458 meters, has been carried out along spread drill lines spaced between 400 and 800 meters. The assay results and detailed geological logging reveal mineralisation hosted within sheared and altered dolerite, with the recent discovery of a felsic intrusive component near the Arrakis structure. The air‐core drilling is supported by follow-up RC and infill air‐core programs scheduled for August, as well as heritage surveys slated for late August and September, which are aimed at refining drill line spacing and confirming the geometry of the host structures. For beginner traders, the technical indicators provided in this announcement demonstrate that the exploration program has returned promising assays with intercepts over 1.0 g/t gold and significant widths, suggesting discovery potential in a large-scale high-priority target area. Yandal Resources Limited emphasizes its robust cash position and a well-funded exploration schedule to advance both the Caladan and New England Granite target areas. The news carries a bullish sentiment as the extension of the Arrakis mineralised structure and consistent mineralisation along a significant strike length have the potential to elevate the company’s exploration portfolio. The strategic scheduling of follow-up RC drilling and closer-spaced legacy surveys further add to the optimistic outlook among investors seeking growth from early exploration successes. On the other hand, a bearish perspective might note that the true widths of the intercepts and the precise geometry of the mineralised structures still require confirmation through further drilling. Uncertainties regarding the continuity and commercial viability of the resource mean that while the initial signs are promising, investors should remain cautious as additional results become available.
