Sun Silver Limited’s latest re-assay results from its Nevada project reveal broad, promising antimony zones, including a 41m intercept at 0.1% Sb. This supports the project’s potential as a key domestic source of a critical mineral amidst rising demand for secure supply chains.

Sun Silver Limited has issued new results from its extensive re-assay program at the Maverick Springs Silver-Gold Project in Nevada, USA. The latest data confirms consistent antimony mineralisation across historic drill holes, with highlights including a 41‐meter interval grading 0.1% antimony (with a subinterval of 9.1 meters at 0.2% Sb) and an 18-meter interval grading 0.1% Sb. These findings bolster the understanding of a broad, multi-kilometer mineralised system that not only hosts significant silver and gold resources but also reveals an important asset in antimony—a commodity of growing strategic interest. The technical data emerging from the re-analysis of historic pulp, drill core, and coarse rejects demonstrates that the antimony grades at Maverick Springs exceed those reported at comparable U.S. projects. This is notable as the observed values of around 0.1% Sb compare favourably to average grades of approximately 0.06–0.07% Sb observed at a competing project, suggesting enhanced potential for a maiden antimony resource model. The overall dataset, spanning more than 35 historical holes, is being integrated with validation drilling to determine the spatial continuity of the mineralisation across a deposit measuring roughly 2.4 kilometers in length by 1.4 kilometers in width. The company emphasized that the ongoing program is part of a broader strategy to unlock the multi-commodity potential of Maverick Springs. With additional results expected throughout the third quarter of 2025, Sun Silver is actively advancing both its geological understanding and technical work to harness antimony’s role in defence, energy storage, and high-tech manufacturing. The project’s location in Nevada—a jurisdiction globally renowned for its mining expertise—adds further strategic credibility as the U.S. aims to secure domestic sources of critical minerals. Investor sentiment may lean positively as the findings indicate a robust and expansive mineral system with technically promising antimony zones that could add significant value to the existing silver-gold resource. The project’s proximity to established mining operations and favorable jurisdictional factors further underpin its potential. Conversely, the forward-looking nature of the work—relying on historical data reinterpretation and pending detailed resource modeling—introduces uncertainty. Market participants should note risks related to further technical validation and the inherent challenges of converting exploration success into production-ready assets. Overall, the latest technical indicators and re-assay results have reinforced the potential scale and continuity of mineralisation at Maverick Springs, positioning Sun Silver Limited to possibly establish a substantial domestic source of a critical mineral amid evolving U.S. supply chain dynamics.
