Lincoln Minerals Limited has advanced its exploration work at its Minbrie Copper‐Base Metal Project on South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula by re-evaluating historical diamond core with modern analytical techniques. Recent field activities have involved systematically re-logging 28 legacy drillholes, accumulating 1,775 metres of re-logged core, and recording 620 portable XRF readings. These efforts have identified a priority copper-base metal target, particularly in drillhole BURCD030, which shows strong geological continuity with discovery hole BUDD1921. Early pXRF results have detected copper in a bornite-bearing vein just four metres from the end of BURCD030, suggesting a promising downhole extension and adding emphasis to the project’s multi-phase sulphide mineralisation. The technical details were presented with care, including information on the Olympus Vanta XRF instrument operating in 3-Beam Geochem mode, along with specifics on sample preparation, reading duration, and quality assurance measures. The company has also updated drillhole collar details and significant assay intercepts, incorporating further technical context such as calibration procedures and moisture control for pXRF measurements. It is clearly stated that these pXRF readings are indicative measures to guide sample selection for full laboratory analysis, rather than definitive grade quantification. Laboratory assay results for 224 selected intervals are expected progressively through June 2025, and an initial 3D geological model is nearing completion.
