Haranga Resources Limited completes its acquisition of the Lincoln Gold Project in California after thorough due diligence. With strong historical assay results supporting its upcoming drilling, the company aims to secure a JORC-compliant resource estimate by year-end, enhancing its growth strategy in global gold exploration and development.
Haranga Resources Limited has finalized the acquisition of the Lincoln Gold Project in California, marking a strategic expansion of its gold portfolio. The transaction, completed after comprehensive technical, legal, and financial due diligence, will see the issuance of shares related to the acquisition. Historical drilling data has revealed promising gold grades, including an intercept of 3.7 meters at 108 g/t gold with an individual sample recording 0.91 meters at 304.5 g/t gold. These encouraging figures support the Company’s plans to launch its first drilling campaign at the project mid-September, with the aim of advancing the property toward a JORC-compliant mineral resource estimate by year’s end.
In addition to enhancing its gold project portfolio, Haranga Resources Limited continues to progress exploration activities at its Ibel South Gold Project, where a 2,000-meter maiden drill program was completed in July and results are expected in August. The Lincoln asset, which historically reported an estimated 286,000 ounces at approximately 9.3 g/t gold under NI 43-101 standards, now benefits from fresh due diligence data that could unlock further value for the company. The announcement also noted the effective resignation of Mr Hendrik Schloemann, with the Company expressing its gratitude for his service.
The news carries mixed sentiment for market observers. On the bullish side, the acquisition and the confirmation of high-grade historical results provide strong technical indicators and a clear pathway toward a robust resource estimate, suggesting potential upside in Haranga Resources Limited’s asset base. Conversely, the bearish perspective highlights inherent risks such as the uncertainties in translating historical NI 43-101 estimates into JORC-compliant resources and the challenges typical of exploration activities. Investors, particularly beginner traders, should note that while the technical data is encouraging, the forward-looking elements of exploration remain subject to several uncertainties inherent to the mining sector.
