Yandal Resources Limited’s latest drilling results extend its Arrakis gold structure over 2.2km, uncovering promising intercepts. Follow-up RC drilling and heritage surveys aim to further delineate the target, potentially boosting investor confidence in the company’s exploration strategy.

Yandal Resources Limited has reported encouraging early findings from its extensive Caladan air-core drilling program. Results indicate that the mineralised Arrakis structure now spans more than 2.2 kilometers along strike within the core of the Caladan Fold. Notable intercepts include 22 meters averaging 0.5g/t gold from a depth of 75 meters—with a notable sub-interval of 7 meters at 1.2g/t—as well as a 5-meter intercept grading 0.7g/t gold in a nearby hole. In addition, drilling southwest of the primary zone has revealed a possible parallel dolerite-hosted structure, with a 9-meter intercept averaging 1.2g/t gold (including a 1-meter segment of 7.7g/t gold) and another 5-meter intercept at 0.4g/t. The drilling program, which has completed 136 air-core holes spanning nearly 14,000 meters over a 6.4-kilometer strike, has delineated a large-scale mineralised target that appears to be hosted within sheared and altered dolerite. The company’s CEO emphasized that the primary aim has been to identify extensive mineralised systems, and the current broad-spaced drilling results support the interpretation of a significant mineralised structure at depth. Next steps include follow-up reverse circulation drilling to test below existing intercepts, as well as heritage surveys designed to clear additional closely spaced drill lines across the Arrakis structure. These initiatives are part of a planned second phase of drilling focused on defining both the full footprint and potential high-grade zones within the system. The news has significant implications for investors interested in early-stage exploration ventures. From a bullish perspective, the extension of the Arrakis structure over a substantial strike length, along with multiple promising intercepts and the possibility of additional mineralised zones, supports the view that Yandal Resources is on the verge of a major discovery that could enhance its resource potential. Conversely, the cautious note is that the results represent first-pass, broadly spaced drilling data and further infill and confirmatory drilling will be required to establish continuity, true width, and economic viability of the mineralisation. For beginner traders, these developments signal high exploration potential balanced by inherent technical and exploration risks.
