Stellar Resources Limited reports robust drilling progress at its Heemskirk Tin Project, extending its diamond drilling campaign to upscale its high-grade tin resource. Strong intersections at multiple zones bolster confidence in the project's long-life potential as pre-feasibility studies and metallurgical tests advance.

Stellar Resources Limited has announced encouraging progress at its Heemskirk Tin Project in Western Tasmania. The company is nearing the completion of its planned 24‐hole, approximately 9,500-metre diamond drilling campaign, with 23 holes drilled for a total of nearly 8,900 metres. The campaign is focused on infill and extension drilling aimed at upgrading and expanding its 2023 Mineral Resource Estimate. Notably, drilling at the northern end of the Severn deposit has achieved a depth of 648 metres in hole ZS187, targeting mineralisation located 100 metres down dip from previous intercepts. Based on strong geological data, the company has immediately wedged off this hole and intends to add further wedge holes to test surrounding high-value ore zones. Positive drilling results from both the Queen Hill and Severn deposits have delivered promising high-grade tin intersections. At Queen Hill, recent drill intersections include 17.0 metres at 1.79% tin, with a narrower section grading 2.74%, as well as 6.3 metres at 2.22% tin. In addition, Severn recorded an intercept of 20.9 metres at 1.97% tin, with a sub-interval of 14.8 metres grading 2.40% tin. With these promising highlights, the Board has approved an extension of the program to include an extra five holes and wedges, equating to an additional 2,500 metres of drilling, to further test and potentially expand the project’s resource base. The project’s advanced technical work is not limited to drilling. Prefeasibility study activities are well underway as the company progresses with ore sorting tests, metallurgical assessments, and the initial steps in mine planning and environmental baseline studies. Stellar Resources’ approach is designed to build geological confidence and unlock the potential for a significant resource upgrade, drawing parallels with historical successes at nearby mines which evolved from modest reserves into long-life tin operations. From a bullish view, the announcement strengthens investor confidence in the potential for significant resource growth and an upgraded mineral profile that could support long-term tin production. The successful drilling outcomes, coupled with an approved program extension and progressing prefeasibility studies, underscore a commitment to advancing the project toward development and eventual production. Conversely, a cautious perspective highlights that while drilling results are promising, the project still faces exploration risks and uncertainties inherent in mineral resource expansion. Continued success from extended drilling will be essential to confirm the scale and grade continuity required for the prefeasibility study, and delays or less-than-expected results could impact the anticipated upgrade of the resource base. Overall, the news points to a robust progression at the Heemskirk Tin Project, with strong drill results and strategic additional drilling poised to play a key role in solidifying Stellar Resources Limited’s development plans.
