Orbminco Limited has launched geophysical surveys at its Bronze Fox Copper-Gold Project in Mongolia’s Southern Gobi. This milestone paves the way for a Q3 2025 drilling program targeting high-grade copper and gold extensions, underscoring the company’s potential in a strategically critical region.

Orbminco Limited has launched the second phase of its 2025 field program at the Bronze Fox Copper-Gold Project in Mongolia’s Southern Gobi region, using advanced Induced Polarisation and Ground Gravity surveys. The company is strategically targeting a high-grade copper-gold extension structure at the West Kasulu prospect, as well as extensive sub-cropping copper mineralisation at the Shuteen North prospect. These geophysical surveys will drive the final design for a diamond core drilling program slated for the third quarter of 2025, setting the stage for a focused exploration at two priority targets that could underpin a significant copper-gold discovery. The Bronze Fox Project, which spans approximately 175 km², lies in a region renowned for its world-class deposits. Mongolia’s Southern Gobi has captured global attention, not least because of the success of nearby major mining operations and emerging M&A activity. This backdrop has elevated the strategic significance of the project, with Orbminco Limited standing as the sole independent, foreign-listed explorer with a stake in this high-potential mining province. Firm technical groundwork, including a maiden JORC Mineral Resource and an Exploration Target reported earlier, bolsters the confidence in the project’s potential scale and the upcoming exploration activities. Mapping, sampling, and recent geological evaluations have confirmed the presence of a high-grade copper-gold structure at West Kasulu, which presents an open trend continuing northwest beneath shallow cover. Detailed mapping at Shuteen North, approximately 10 kilometers southwest of West Kasulu, has revealed extensive copper mineralisation juxtaposed with multiple intrusive systems and significant alteration patterns indicative of a porphyry environment. The complementary use of IP surveys to detect subsurface sulphide mineralisation and ground gravity surveys to interpret structural and lithological boundaries will provide critical insights to optimize the drill targets. Bullish sentiment centers on the company’s aggressive exploration activities in one of the world’s most coveted copper-gold belts, their unique positioning as the only independent foreign-listed explorer in the region, and the potential for substantial resource expansion through the upcoming drilling program. The strong technical setup provided by recent geophysical data and prior exploration results further reinforces the view that Orbminco Limited could unlock significant value in a sector currently witnessing heightened global interest. Conversely, bearish perspectives focus on the inherent risks associated with early-stage exploration, the uncertainties tied to the interpretation of geophysical data, and the competitive pressures from larger established players and active M&A interest in the Southern Gobi region. Nonetheless, the company’s focused approach and strategic surveys provide a promising pathway for future exploration success.
