OpenLearning Limited has entered into a significant five‐year platform SaaS agreement with National University Philippines, one of the country’s largest private institutions. National University, after a competitive trial process among several leading learning management systems, chose OpenLearning’s AI-powered platform to serve as its central learning management system across its campuses. Under the agreement, a minimum of 40,000 students per year will access the system, with the initial fee set at US$80,000 (approximately A$124,000) per year, totaling a baseline value of US$400,000 over the duration of the contract. The arrangements detail that National University intends to expand the deployment of the platform to serve all 85,000 of its current students, with potential annual SaaS fees estimated to reach up to A$250,000 once fully implemented across its campuses. The contract is usage-based, ensuring that fees scale with student numbers, which aligns with the university’s robust 10-year expansion strategy that includes new campuses in East Ortigas, Bacolod, and Las Piñas. In addition to its core operations, the university’s group also comprises Asia Pacific College and Inspire Sports Academy, further underlining the strategic importance of adopting a scalable and modern learning solution.
