Gorilla Gold Mines Ltd’s maiden diamond drilling at Mulwarrie delivers impressive high grade gold intercepts, hinting at resource expansion. With nearly 80,000oz currently estimated, an anticipated Q3 update could unlock further growth—an exciting development for investors and emerging traders alike.

Gorilla Gold Mines Ltd has reported impressive early results from its maiden diamond drilling program at the Mulwarrie Project in Western Australia. The company’s latest data shows high-grade gold intercepts that appear to extend mineralisation at depth and along a 2.5‐kilometre strike. Notably, one drill hole registered an 8.2‐metre section with a remarkable 23.5 grams per tonne of gold, while another hole intercepted 1.5 metres of 24 grams per tonne. These results come on top of the project’s current resource estimate of 78,700 ounces averaging 2.8 grams per tonne. The company’s exploration strategy at Mulwarrie is clearly gaining momentum. The high-grade intercepts, discovered outside of the pre-existing resource area, indicate the potential for a significant upgrade in both tonnes and grade ahead of a resource re-estimate scheduled for Q3. Gorilla Gold Mines Ltd highlighted that the mineralisation is straightforward, occurring in quartz-pyrrhotite veins within competent mafic rocks, adding technical robustness to the discoveries. With the project located on granted mining leases near established gold processing facilities, the operational context further reinforces its potential. Additional drilling, exploration and permitting work is actively underway at the Lakeview and broader Comet Vale projects, with rigs at Mulwarrie set to transition to Comet Vale in the coming weeks as the current program wraps up in three to four weeks. This phased approach supports ongoing mineral discovery while positioning the company well for a material resource upgrade and continued expansion of its exploration footprint. There is a bullish sentiment around the news, as the high-grade discoveries and potential for resource expansion present an encouraging outlook for investors and traders. The strong technical indicators and the strategic move to re-estimate the resource further underpin the positive narrative. However, a note of caution remains for the more risk-aware audience, given that exploration programs inherently involve operational challenges and uncertainties regarding subsequent drilling outcomes. Overall, investors are likely to view these results as a positive catalyst, while remaining mindful of the exploration risks in early-stage resource development.
