Lunnon Metals Limited has revealed highly encouraging gold assay results from its recent drill program at the Cooee prospect. Although initial drilling focused on nickel targets, the company unexpectedly intersected strong gold mineralisation. Key results include a 2.0‐metre interval grading 20.24 grams per tonne of gold and a 4.0‐metre section grading 11.14 grams per tonne. Historical drilling data further supports these findings, delineating a mineralised structure extending over 400 metres along a south-dipping quartz vein that dates back to the 1920s.
