Gorilla Gold Mines Ltd reports robust shallow gold intercepts at the Lakeview Prospect with high-grade results and extended mineralisation over 1000m. Ongoing drilling and exploration indicate significant resource growth potential in a prolific gold region.

Gorilla Gold Mines Ltd has reported encouraging exploration results from its ongoing drilling program at the Lakeview Prospect within the Comet Vale Project, located north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. Recent Reverse Circulation drilling has intercepted high-grade, shallow gold mineralisation, including an 8‐metre section at 5.8 g/t from 68 metres encountered in one hole. This intercept extends mineralisation 75 metres up-dip from an earlier high-grade hit of 11 metres at 24.8 g/t, highlighting the potential for near-surface gold to come to fruition. The drilling program has demonstrated continuity of mineralisation along strike for more than 1,000 metres, with additional results confirming the presence of gold-bearing structures about 400 metres away from previous high-grade intercepts. One drill hole was re-split and upgraded from an 8-metre composite at 0.6 g/t to a 7-metre section at 1.3 g/t, reinforcing the consistency of the geological system across the area. With diamond drilling recently commenced, the company is well positioned to drill shallow angle holes to further target near-surface gold deposits corroborated by historical mining evidence. In addition to drilling at Lakeview, Gorilla Gold Mines Ltd has deployed multiple rigs at both the Lakeview and Mulwarrie Projects. Environmental surveys, soil sampling, and further metallurgical test work are underway to support permit applications and future resource growth drilling. The broader Comet Vale Project boasts a rich history with historical production well over 200,000 ounces at high grades and hosts multiple mineralised structures, offering significant upside for future resource expansion. The company anticipates releasing a resource update for the Sovereign Prospect in the second to third quarter of 2025 and a maiden resource for the Lakeview Prospect later in the year. The news presents a bullish outlook for the company. The high-grade, shallow intercepts combined with the expansion of mineralisation along a long strike length suggest considerable near-term exploration upside. The initiation of diamond drilling and the systematic targeting of parallel structures further support a positive development trajectory. However, concerns remain from a bearish perspective. As the results are reported as downhole lengths without confirmed true widths, and with several pending environmental and permitting studies, uncertainties inherent in early-stage exploration could delay the translation of these promising intercepts into a definitive resource.
