Emmerson Resources Limited is ramping up its White Devil Gold Deposit project with new feasibility diamond drilling and a completed RC drilling program. The advancing scoping study and promising resource estimate reinforce its potential as an exciting opportunity for growth in the mining exploration sector.

Emmerson Resources Limited has initiated a key phase in advancing its White Devil Gold Deposit project in the central Northern Territory. The company announced that its 5,000-meter reverse circulation drilling program at White Devil has been completed, with all samples now dispatched for analysis. At the same site, a geotechnical diamond drilling campaign comprising five holes over 1,400 meters has commenced to support the ongoing Feasibility Study. Preliminary work on the White Devil Scoping Study is progressing well, with open pit designs and preliminary mine scheduling based on pit optimisations using an assumed gold price of A$4,000. This study has already converted over 60% of the current 4.6-megatonne mineral resource—averaging 4.2 grams per tonne to a pit shell, with approximately 95% of this resource in the Indicated Category. Under the joint venture with the subsidiary of Pan African Resources, the project is positioned to qualify as a Major Mine Deposit should it exceed 250,000 ounces of gold, with contractual provisions offering Emmerson a significant contributing interest and claw back rights. In addition to the extensive work at White Devil, the Company has extended its field activities with the completion of a 1,500-meter RC drilling program at its 100% owned Hermitage Copper, Gold and Critical Metals Project, aiming to capture further mineralisation along strike. This move reinforces Emmerson’s strategic exploration approach across the Tennant Creek Mineral Field and other prospective regions. Bullish sentiment stems from the robust drilling results, high-grade resource indicators, and the potential transformation of the deposit into a Major Mine Deposit, which could significantly boost the Company’s asset portfolio and project economics. Conversely, the cautious perspective highlights the inherent uncertainties linked with forward-looking statements, the dependence on pending assay results, and the typical risks associated with transitioning from a Scoping to a full Feasibility Study stage amid volatile market conditions.
