Bubalus Resources Limited has uncovered compelling Fosterville-style gold and antimony targets near a world-class gold mine. Promising geophysical survey and chip assay data have spurred plans for a 1,000-m diamond drill program in Q3 2025, positioning the company as an attractive prospect for future growth.
Bubalus Resources Limited has reported promising exploration results from its Crosbie North gold‐antimony prospect, located about 15 km from the renowned Fosterville Gold Mine. A recent Dipole-Dipole Induced Polarisation survey has identified strong chargeability anomalies within a faulted fold system—features that mirror those seen in Fosterville’s Eagle and Swan zones. The survey area, underpinned by high grade rock chip results reaching up to 12.1 g/t gold and 2.02% antimony, suggests a significant mineralisation system that warrants further investigation.
The geophysical data, processed and modelled by Mitre Geophysics, revealed chargeability features measuring up to 25 mV/V at depths starting around 190 m to 440 m. These anomalies are concentrated along faulted folds and en-echelon relay structures, ideal conduits for gold-bearing fluids. The technical indicators, including conductive layering emerging below 130 m and specific resistive zones likely representing quartz veining or reefs, support the prospect’s resemblance to the high-grade system at Fosterville. These findings are further corroborated by surface geochemical signatures that align well with the structural settings highlighted in the IP survey.
Looking ahead, Bubalus Resources Limited plans to initiate a diamond drilling program in the third quarter of 2025, targeting approximately 1,000 metres of drilling across 5-6 holes. This step is designed to test the identified anomalies and further define the potential for a robust mineralising system in the region.
From a sentiment perspective, the news carries a bullish tone for the company. The identification of high-grade geophysical anomalies alongside supportive geochemical data and the imminent drill program hints at a promising exploration phase that could drive value for investors. Beginner traders can view this as an encouraging sign of operational progress and potential upside in mineral exploration. However, a cautious, bearish perspective remains due as exploration remains inherently risky—the success of the drilling program and further resource delineation will be critical in validating these early geological indicators.
