Belararox Limited will commence drilling four promising copper targets at its Kalahari Copper Project in Botswana this August. Building on robust geological and geophysical surveys, the program aims to unlock significant resource potential, offering a compelling growth narrative for emerging copper demand in tech and renewable energy markets.

Belararox Limited has announced plans to commence drilling of four high-priority copper targets at its Kalahari Copper Project in Botswana this August 2025. The targets, identified on licence PL0085/2023, were selected following an integrated analysis of geological mapping, geochemical surveys, aeromagnetic data, and ground-based gravity results. These targets lie along the same strike as known copper–silver mineralisation zones from neighboring projects, a fact that has been reinforced by recent drill intercepts from adjacent prospects. The company is preparing to undertake six reverse circulation (RC) drill holes to test these targets along the interpreted contact between the D’Kar Formation and Ngwako Pan Formation. These RC holes are designed to follow the trend of significant geochemical anomalies and confirmed drill intercepts in locally known copper deposits. Furthermore, Belararox has detailed plans for additional surveys, including AMT and airborne electromagnetic (AEM) programs in other licences, which are expected to refine geological interpretations and help define new drill targets for early 2026. Bolstering the technical foundation of the project, Belararox has engaged Dr Quinton Hills, a seasoned expert credited with notable copper discoveries in the region. His involvement underscores the technical validation behind the selection of these promising drill targets and reflects the company’s commitment to leveraging advanced exploration techniques in a relatively underexplored area that has already produced multiple Tier 1 copper deposits. From a market sentiment perspective, there is a bullish outlook due to the rigorous technical justification and the strategic positioning of the drilling program in a globally significant copper belt. The integration of multiple geophysical surveys and the backing of industry expertise add weight to the potential for discovery. On the downside, risks remain inherent to early-stage exploration, particularly in challenging terrain where geological interpretations must ultimately be confirmed by drilling results. This balance of strong technical foundations with the uncertainties of exploration offers a mixed but cautiously optimistic sentiment for investor consideration.
