Advance Metals Limited has relaunched diamond drilling at its Victorian Myrtleford Project, targeting the high-grade Happy Valley Prospect. The expanded campaign follows promising initial results, potentially paving the way for significant exploration breakthroughs in Australia’s gold-rich regions, attracting interest from beginner investors and traders.
Advance Metals Limited has recommenced its diamond drilling program at the high grade Myrtleford Project in the Victorian Goldfields, Australia. The company, following an earlier successful drilling campaign that yielded impressive high grade gold intercepts, has mobilised a rig to the Happy Valley Prospect. The initial hole, AMD009, is currently underway and will target a mineralisation zone approximately 20 metres down-plunge from a previous significant intercept, while also testing along strike from notable high grade results obtained in earlier holes. The company plans to drill at least six additional diamond holes to explore extensions up and down plunge and along strike, with maiden drilling programs at Sheard’s Reef and Queen of the Hills set to follow over a six-kilometre area along the Happy Valley Trend.
Technical details from previous results underscore the project’s strong potential. Earlier holes registered intercepts such as 7.5 metres at 47.9g/t gold and 11.5 metres at 160.4g/t gold, establishing a promising mineral footprint. The forthcoming results from AMD009, expected in July 2025, along with pending assays for four holes from the Twist Creek region, will provide further clarity on the project’s extension potential. Drilling activities are also proceeding concurrently at the company’s Yoquivo Silver-Gold Project in Chihuahua, Mexico, reflecting a diversified exploration strategy.
The recent developments cast a positive outlook for Advance Metals Limited, appealing to storage-minded investors and those with an interest in exploration plays. Bullish sentiment is driven by the technical success of prior results and the aggressive exploration strategy designed to expand high grade gold mineralisation. The use of advanced drilling techniques and continued high-grade intercepts support a positive valuation narrative. Conversely, bearish sentiment may arise from inherent exploration risks, such as uncertainties in geological continuity and the natural volatility in assay turnaround. Nonetheless, the proactive approach and careful planning provide a measure of confidence in the company’s forward trajectory.
